An examination of the prisoner abuse scandal involving U.S. soldiers and detainees at Iraq's Abu Ghraib prison in the fall of 2003.
Following the screening, journalist and filmmaker Ahmed Twaij will host a live discussion with Ghosts of Abu Ghraib director Rory Kennedy, Senior Staff Attorney at the Center for Constitutional Rights, Katherine Gallagher, and Mark Danner, a professor at UC Berkeley, former staff writer at The New Yorker and author of "Torture and Truth: America, Abu Ghraib, and the War on Terror." A video of Abu Ghraib torture survivor, Al Jazeera journalist Salah Al-Ejaili, will also be shown.
